Are these cookies savory?

Our shortbread cookies are unexpectedly delicious flavor combinations that are sweet with some spices added to the flavor palate. There is more butter than sugar in our shortbread, making them just the right amount of sweet.

Mount Virginia is a farm and retreat center located on the Key Peninsula, WA, USA.

Is it a mix?

Each resealable pouch contains a baker's dozen of baked cookies. We package our cookies in pouches to reduce our carbon footprint, as the pouches fit in a smaller box, which means less energy to ship them to you.

How many is a baker's dozen?

We say approximately 12 cookies, because there are 13 in a bag.

Do they keep? Can I freeze them?

Yes, and yes. They keep well, and the resealable pouch makes it possible to store in your pantry or to freeze and still maintain the freshness.

Why is it called Mount Virginia?

The architectural style of our farmhouse is modeled after Mount Vernon, and we are named for our own mother and aunt, Virginia. Our name and baked goods honor this heritage.
